The Great Sword Of the Barony of Illiton

This Sword of Illiton (sometimes affectionately called Gigantor since we realized how much bigger it is than the Midrealm's State Sword Oathbinder) was made at the time the Shire of Illiton became the Barony of Illiton and was presented to Baron Orson die Grosse Maur and Baroness Maria Teresa Ribeiro dos Santos, the Founding Baron and Baroness of Illiton.

It was made by Lord Cedric, a first-generation SCAdian who is still active in the northwest Midlands.

Request for Help
Baroness Maria Teresa says that the great crystal in the pommel is one of a limited number of such crystals ever made, and this was the last one Cedric had. We'd like to have the rest of the story. We'd also like to have a description of how the Sword was made.
