The Ancient and Honorable Coronets
Of the Barony of Illiton
|
| |
These coronets were made at the time the Shire of Illiton became the Barony of Illiton. They were finished at the Jubilee Olde English Faire that year and presented to Baron Orson die Grosse Maur and Baroness Maria Teresa Ribeiro dos Santos, the Founding Baron and Baroness of Illiton.

|
| They are made of brass and copper, with an enameled shield-shaped copper plate in front carrying the Barony’s heraldry, and six pearls held in claws at each point. The Baron’s coronet, currently missing two pearls (and apparently missing at least one since early in its life) was reportedly returned to Illiton’s Founding Baron. The Baroness’ coronet remains a part of Regalia and is used only for Installation of a new Baroness and other high State occasions.
